About Me

Hey there I’m Monalicious Lopez. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: musician, educator, dancer, video producer, and community organizer. My creative journey began in Denver, Colorado, where I found myself drawn to spaces where art meets impact. I use theypronouns, and for most of my life, I’ve worked across music, youth empowerment, and multimedia storytelling.

My roots in music stretch back to 2008. What began as songwriting soon evolved into recording, performing, and producing albums like Precious Babe. Alongside the music, I’ve always been called to serve others, especially young creatives. That’s what led me to Youth on Record, where I’ve helped develop trauma-informed programming, mentored young artists, coordinated fellowships, and even co-hosted a podcast focused on creative growth.

I built Monalicious Media as a home for my multidimensional work. It became a portfolio of everything I love music releases, dance performances, video documentaries, press features, and collaborative events. It’s where my commitment to creative freedom and community inclusion truly came to life. I’ve always believed that storytelling is a bridge between people, generations, and lived experiences.

Back in 2013, when I was just 17, I founded a nonprofit called Free Music For Free People (FM4FP). It started as a simple mission: to give local artists space to be heard. Over time, it grew into a movement, with Free People Records, FreePeopleTV, immersive concerts, artist compilations, and multimedia art events like TIMESTAMP and Latinx: de aquí y de allá. I also helped launch FreePeopleTV in 2020, highlighting Denver’s vibrant music scene through interviews, performances, and short-form documentaries.

Movement has always been part of my healing and artistic journey. I trained in Brazilian Zouk, launched the People of Movement initiative, and taught dance as both art and self-expression. Through it all, I remained connected to Denver’s grassroots creative network, finding new ways to uplift stories that mattered.

But in 2025, I felt something shift. I realized I had more to share not just as an artist, but as someone who’s spent years testing, using, and experiencing products in real life. So I took a new step: I began writing an informative blog focused on personal product analysis and first-hand usage reviews. My perspective isn’t about marketing spin – it’s about lived experience. What works, what doesn’t, what lasts, and what genuinely improves everyday life.

Now, alongside my ongoing creative work, I explore everything from sustainable items and tech tools to wellness products and artistic gear. This blog is where my instinct for storytelling meets my passion for transparency. If I’ve used it, I’ll tell you how it really felt.
